What are some gems on sale on Steam right now?
It can be difficult to find unpopular and great games because Steam mainly suggests the same titles over and over again
best steam games under 5 dollars
i have like 4.69 in my steam wallet and i wanna spend it in the spring sale. Any good recommendations? I like indie games like hollow knight and undertale
Suggest me some other 2000s PC games, based on my favorite games from this era.
Games I've played in the early 00s:
Now I'm looking for similar games from that nostalgic 2000s era. :)
Godlike developing/watching game?
Ive been playing and loving Simmiland- it is a god game where you provide resources, weather and research to develop humankind as long as possible within a deck of cards. I love watching the little human animations and discoveries and would like more 'ant watching' conputer games. I've been seeing Worldbox as a possible option and hope to try it out soon!
Any other recommendations?
Great indie games that aren't in everybody's top 10
NO ISSAC! NO ORI! NO HOLLOW GAHDAMN KNIGHT!!! Not that these aren't great games, its just everybody recommends these all the time. Please drop games that you think are great but are less popular or less beloved in numbers.
Spreadsheet simulator games, like EVE online but single player if possible
Basically the title, i am itching for something for my nerdy brain but I feel like I am too late for the party with EVE online and the social aspect feel a bit overwhelming for me as I prefer something more laid back. Anyone got any ideas?
Games where I can play as a barbarian character?
I want to play as a barbarian with BIG MUSCLES who uses said BIG MUSCLES to defeat his opponents, who more often than not lack said BIG MUSCLES.
I already have bg3, conan exiles and elderborn. Any other recs?
Something fresh for an RPG/Soulslike veteran out of ideas (PS5)
Things I like the most:
- C/A RPGs, JRPGs a bit less as I got older
- Souls and everything like it
- smart/immersive experiences like Outer Wilds
Some of my favourite games of all time:
- BG1-3
- Elden Ring
- Disco Elysium
- Hollow Knight (both)
- Mass Effect 1-3
I think Soulsborne ruined “conventional” game formats for me, such as God of War (2018). I thought it was fine, but the combat was too easy, puzzles and quests too repetitive and formulaic etc.
I’ve been trying to get that “kick” again but find myself just not liking a lot of what’s offered. Things I tried and immediately knew I’m not gonna like:
- Cyberpunk
- Hades (I thought it was amazing craftsmanship-wise but I hate the feeling of rinse/repeat)
- Refantazio (I finished P5 but barely tolerated the game).
BTW, something about the first person format on a console never clicked with me completely, hence my strong resistance towards playing the most logical next experience, KCD2.
I had high hopes for Crimson Desert, but looking at the reviews and gameplay videos, it just seems particularly shallow from a narrative perspective, so I’ll pass.
Any ideas?
Games with interesting stories, open world, and hopefully some sci-fi/horror
So far played (not necessarily within my requested genre):
- Ghost of Tsushima: I loved it, may just get the second one
- Red Dead Redemption 2: Not of my liking, couldn't finish it
- Uncharted: Kinda ok but feels silly/childish
- Fallout: Same as above
- Resident Evil Village: same
Medieval Games That Aren't As Well Known
Basically the title, looking for some cool not as well known medieval games in any genre.
Thanks in advance!
Looking for an rpg on ps5
Hi,
I am currently looking for a new rpg on ps5. Doesn’t have to be open world but I would love to get a place I can explore and that’s just exiting to be in.
Would love to have some sort of fantasy setting.
Game shouldn’t be too old, maybe 1-3 years and look and play at least decent, doesn’t need to be a Witcher 3 level masterpiece, I can totally live smaller titles or games that aren’t that well known.
Two things I don’t want is turn based combat and a Diablo style gameplay.
Hope you can recommend me something good.
Looking for indie games with a unique art style and interesting/deep lore.
Games like Hollow Knight, Disco Elysium, and Little Nightmares come to mind. And even though they aren’t indie, Elden Ring and Nier: Automata are the type of games I’m looking for. The genre and gameplay don’t really matter to me.

Steam gets big ups for promoting the human artists behind its latest March 2026 spring sale graphics: "Thank you for using real artists and not slop"
>"The lovely art for this sale was created by @thetiffopotamus, with animations by @thanhuki," wrote Steam on X. "Check out their work with Points Shop items, and by going through your Discovery Queue for stickers."
>While it seems like one of those artists, Tiffany Diep, joined the migration to Bluesky where she is more active, it's nice to see the venerable storefront shout out the artists bringing this year's seasonal sale graphics to life. Diep's LinkedIn page reveals that she's "in charge of all of Steam's 2026 seasonal sales banners and point shop sale assets," so if you like that adorable dragon on this year's banner, you may want to save up some Points Shop currency.
>The reaction on social media both to the art and to Steam's crediting the artists has been enthusiastic. A post from arthurianmaiden on X reads, "Thank you for using real artists and not slop." A quote repost from IsThisRealArt_ concurs: "Steam supporting real artists! Based!"
>New Blood CEO Dave Oshry posted on X about the reaction to Steam's use of real artists, saying "I love how this is breaking news now even though Steam has always used different artists for their sale art. That's how much AI bullshit is out there."

Should I buy Baldur's Gate 3?
Hey y'all.
So I'm kinda not convinced if I'll like this game or not. The idea of the game seems interesting and I like RPGs but I'm not sure if this is a game that will get me hooked or bored. I played a lot of skyrim and red dead redemption 2 as they are my favourite games but they seem certainly different from baldurs gate. I also enjoy games like the AC series, god of war and the witcher 3.
What should I do?
What should I buy instead
Seeing all of the posts about Crimson Desert, I’m going in a different direction here. A lot of replies are to wait for it to go on sale or to patch and improve QOL. We say that every time the new shiny game comes out.
So, what game is that right now? What game came out and had issues, but is now the patched gem on sale that I should pull the trigger on finally?
Anything newer than Cyberpunk. Being on sale is a a bonus, but I’ll settle for the issues at launch were resolved.
dying light 2 vs resident evil 2 and 3
both games run well on steamdeck and are all on sale
i am leaning towards resident evil 2 and 3 but dying light 2 is supposed to be really good after all of the updates and the game is way longer but resident evil is supposed to be extremely replayable now i am just talkin about a buncha stuff cos i needa fill 300 letter😭
Im a sucker for games that leave a huge impression on me
I’m a big fan of indie/ AAA games that actually make me feel something. That can be emotion, stress, fear, adrenaline, curiosity, atmosphere, humor, or just a game being so unique that it sticks in my head.
There’s a Steam sale right now, so I wanted recommendations based on the games I rated highest and why they worked for me, because a lot of them hit for totally different reasons.
Detroit: Become Human- Realistic, emotional, very dedicated choice-based game. That kind of story is my thing.
Slay the Princess- Another choice-based game that’s a gem and emotional as hell.
Doki Doki Literature Club- I played it when I was younger and it’s one of those games that feels genuinely special and leaves a place in your heart.
Clair Obscur- Emotional, unique action format, beautiful music, beautiful art, everything feels carefully made and emotional.
NieR: Automata -Emotional, fantastic, beautiful music, beautiful plot.
Persona 5- Made me obsessed with sleepless nights. Jazzy, stylish, classic, really fun.
Layers of Fear- One of the only games that made me unbelievably stressed while playing. The claustrophobic old-century feel made me fall in love with it.
Outlast 1 & 2- Absolutely horrifying.
Bramble: The Mountain King- I love old folklore-type games that leave a sense of mystery and horrors
Ninja Gaiden- Action-packed high-speed slasher. Absolutely loved it.
Dragon Ball FighterZ- High-adrenaline speed rush, fast reflexes, momentum, really fun.
Devil May Cry series- Another action slasher series I love.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy- Loved the humor, the colors, the fun. Just a solid game.
Spider-Man series- Same deal as Guardians. I can’t say I’m obsessed with it, but I definitely had fun.
Astro Bot- Goat of the year for me. Best presentation in a game I’ve played in a long time. It genuinely made gaming feel fun again.
Goat Simulator- Absurd, creative, funny as hell, makes no sense, but insanely entertaining.
Outer Wilds- Nearly perfect game. Probably at the top of all the games I’ve played.
Superliminal- Philosophically genius. Every level puts you into a different perspective.
Gravity Rush- Very fun, unique, artistic open-world game where you can explore and fly around without pressure and keep finding interesting stuff.
Uncharted series- Absolutely loved it. The sense of curiosity and adventure was so strong it genuinely made me want to explore the real world.
Stray- Atmospheric, really entertaining, and leaves a sweet memory.
BioShock games- Classic masterpiece.
Batman Arkham series- All of them except the last one are highly loved for the dark gothic theme and the mix of detective work and action.
God of War- Big classic.
Cyberpunk 2077- One of those games I had to finish to understand what everyone was talking about. Solid 9 for me, even if I can’t say I’m obsessed with it.
So yeah, based on all that, what would you recommend from the Steam sale?
I’m open to anything, indie or AAA, old or new, as long as it has some kind of strong identity to it. Could be emotional, atmospheric, terrifying, action-packed, funny, mysterious, artistic, whatever. I just really like games that leave an impression and feel unique in their own lane.
Nier automata or scarlet nexus ultimate or hifi rush or plague tale bundle
I have some extra money left. So wanted to get something during the steam spring sale. My new year's resolution was trying new genres.
Ive played very few hack n slash games usually from ps2 era
The most recent ones ive played are romeo is a deadman and lollipop chainsaw the combat was fairly simple and fun so I loved it. Why I am definitely getting no more heroes 1-3 Bundle (please lmk if no more heroes is complicated unlike romeo is a deadman and if the pc ports are horrible)
I feel like the first three games nier automata , scarlet nexus and hifi rush are all very similar as they're all hack n slash / action adventure games.
I want a game with good movement like easy to dodge and run around during fights and not overwhelming combos and button prompts Light and heavy is enough lol
I do find having to play nier automata ane scarlet nexus 3 and 2 times respectively to understand the full story kinda worrying but might do it if the games are fun. None of that with hifi rush but it seems to have many combos and rhythm based gameplay seems a bit challeing
I dont want a game that's too complicated forcing you to learn a ton of combos etc and can just button mash and spam through it.
In case all three are I am also considering plague tale bundle. Ive also never played stealth games so this would also be new for me.looks very high quality w beautiful graphics and narrative focused.
If there are any other games I can consider instead of these do lmk thanks.
For context
I love the resident evil games,Sony spiderman games, uncharted,Guardians of the galaxy, romeo is a deadman bullet storm, far cry 5, Tomb raider games.
Nier Replicant or Final Fantasy 7 Remake Integrade
I’m debating on whether to purchasing replicant or FF7 remake or another game during this steam sale. Is Replicant worth buying and playing or should I just watch the gameplay of it entirely? The game I know for sure I’m picking up this time is Elden Ring! For FF7 remake, i’m not able to purchase both that and Rebirth at the moment (low on funds) so I don’t know if it’s worth buying both of them as a bundle later on. Any advice if replicant is worth buying and playing? Are there any other game reccomendations I can look into as well? I would like something that I can keep going back to more than just a one time play through.

How is Cities Skylines II?
I like city builders. I have played a few hours of Cities Skylines, but without any DLCs. Now that Cities Skylines II is on sale, it caught my eye, and it seems like it's much better now that on release.
Is the game worth it? I have a decent computer to play with, so I don't think performance is a concern. I'm more concerned about the amount of DLCs releasing and the mixed reviews.
Steam Sale is here – what should I buy?
Steam sale is here again and I’m stuck deciding what to buy. Every time I see big discounts I feel like grabbing everything, but I end up not playing half of it.
I’m mainly into open-world, survival, and games where you can just get lost exploring or building something over time. I also enjoy good story games if they’re actually engaging and not slow for no reason.
I don’t really want something that feels like a chore or super repetitive unless the gameplay loop is actually fun.
So what are you guys buying this sale, and what would you recommend I pick up?
With my $100AED budget (27$ USD) during the Spring Sale, are these 16 games a solid pickup before the Steam Box arrives?"
The Steam box is finally coming soon (I think so), so I want to stock up on games now during the Spring Sale, so I'll have a bunch ready to play as soon as it arrives.
So far, my cart consists of 16 games which Include: (Hitman BloodMoney & Absolution), Among Us, EverSpace, Severed Steel, Dead Island Riptide, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, Batman Arkham Knight, The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, Just Cause 3, Beyond: Two souls, Chivalry 2, Grim Dawn, Metro Last Light Redux, Fallout New Vegas.
Do these look like good, valid choices for the price during the sale, or am I missing any better deals/must-haves? Any red flags with these titles?
final fantasy 7 remake & rebirth or baldurs gate 3
some of my favorite games:
tears of the kingdom
breath of the wild
horizon zero dawn
final fantasy xvi
Ive played like the first 1.5 hours of final fantasy vii remake and it was honestly really good, but baldurs gate 3 is mentioned so often as a must have that I feel like I should abandon remake for it. Idk if ill like it that much though, it sounds kind of hard to get in to and manage everything
Should i buy dragon ball sparking zero or arc raiders
Im questioning which one to buy because i really liked xenoverse 2 and i really liked ghosts of tabor (on vr) so idk which one to get. Both at same price right now but i cant decide which one to get. Would anyone help me?
Ive seen alot of stuff on tiktok and gameplay and both look insanely fun. Im getting mixed opinions by everyone like my friend, saying arc raiders is pure dog, while others say its insane.
I am also a solo player.
£250 PS gift card, game ideas please?! RPG
I recently swapped jobs, my old coworkers were ace and bought me a PS card with a hefty amount of money on and I had another lying about to bring the total amount to £250.
Due to the new job time is tight, so I've moved back to my RPG love era - old school meal would play OG FF7/8/9/10 as well as the newer ones. (Not played 16) And I loved "The Last Remnant" as well as Ghost Of Tsushima
Now with this, I'm up for trying something new, maybe crimson desert, maybe baulders gate 3 and I'm totally up for any other recommendations if people would be so kind to post some.
Caveat - Game will need to be lengthy and somewhat challenging as opposed to just a good story, I did get platinum on the FF games (10 took forever)
Thanks! 😊
What is the best game to buy on Steam for 5,65€
good game on Steam that is worth the money. I usually enjoy racing games like Need for Speed and rally games, but I’m also open to other genres like open-world or story-driven games if they are really good.
I want something that I can play for a longer time and not get bored quickly. I don’t really like very complicated or slow games, I prefer something fun and engaging.
I was thinking about getting The Witcher 3, but I’m a bit short on money, so I’m looking for other good alternatives in this price range.
What would you recommend and why?
